Liver Disease


 Liver disease refers to any disorder of the liver including Cirrhosis, or scarring of the liver. Inflammation (hepatitis) from infectious (hepatitis B, hepatitis C) or non-infectious causes (chemical or autoimmune hepatitis) Tumors, benign and malignant (liver cancer) Metabolic disorders. Whichever the illness, it results in the negative effects on the liver cells or hepatocytes which consequently affects how the liver works in the body. Many will know the the liver is one of the most important organs with some of the most important functions so these diseases and illnesses can be life threatening.
